Same as last year, we have been asked to use the beach car parks for the XC event. There will be no parking available near the start / finish area. Strongly advise car sharing where possible
Any updates on will be announced on Saturday
The event is sold out so there will be no on the day entries available.
Registration will be open from 8:45am located nearby the start.
All numbers will be sorted into clubs, so can ONLY team captains come to collect the numbers.
We will NOT be handing out individual numbers to anybody
If any athlete is not running, this number CANNOT be transferred and will need to be returned to registration before 9:40am.
If anybody is found running under a different name, this will result in an instant disqualification.
Headphones are NOT allowed at any XC race
Start Time - 10am - There will be a mass start for this event with all runners going off at the same time. A short race brief will be held at 9:55am at the start.
It is a fairly flat course on mainly grass and woodland trail paths. There will be one or two narrower sections, but we have removed the single file climb from last years event to hopefully make the course run smoother.
I would still highly recommend trail shoes.
Spikes are NOT allowed
Distance will be Approx 2 x 2.4 Mile laps.
The Finish: *IMPORTANT*
This season we are introducing barcode scanning at the finish to hopefully speed up results.
• YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED UNTIL YOU LEAVE THE FINISH FUNNEL
• Please make sure once you cross the line, you stay in the same order, keep moving and continue to walk through the finish funnels to the end.
• Make sure you get your barcode scanned on both occasions. (Do not fold your number)
There are public toilets available a short walk from the start area shown on the event map below.
We will have first aid situated near the start area and also at the furthest point of the course.
Should anybody pick up and injury or feel unwell, please see the nearest Marshall and they will get you support
Team Flags / Gazebo’s:
If any team does wish to bring a flag / gazebo, upon arrival please check with registration as these will all be located in one area.
